This weekend we have just had ‘Minions’ come out so what better subject to look at than Non Disney/Pixar animated film. We have also chosen to avoid animé as we will look at them later in the year too. We all have a place in us that like to watch animated films but just which is our best choice.

I love Despicable Me but it kinda ran away on me when my 87 nephews (or thereabouts, I’ve lost count) really adored the minions.
The minions rule! Ha ha ha. Overkill isn’t good though. Already with this new movie I’m seeing a tad too much of them! 87 nephews and nieces wow!!!!! 🙂 🙂 haha

I just watched Despicable Me. It was good, but I loved the minions so much, even a bland sandra bullock didn’t ruin the movie. You must let me know what you think when you see it!

Gru was great. Was he voiced by Steve Carrell? Whoever it was, it was brilliant voicework, makes bullokcks effort look even worse. Gru was awesome 😀 My mate loved it more than me! Though he is a chronic stoner so…

Yes totally agree!!! I thought Steve Carrell did such a brilliant job, his accent and voice was marvellous. I loooove Gru !!!
Nice choice with Despicable Me Emma, though I must say Chicken Run holds a special place in my heart.
