If it’s in a word or it’s in a book…you can’t get rid of The Babadook
The Babadook is an exciting new scary film from Australian director and writer Jennifer Kent. It was recently shown at the Sundance Film Festival and has received already brilliant reviews from critics and audience alike.
A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son’s fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her. (courtesy of IMDB)
Well I watched the trailer just last night and had trouble sleeping afterwards. Who am I kidding, may as well be honest here – I also threw my phone across the room half way through it. I’m not joking. Just the damn trailer was so freaky! The noise that he makes…………..oh my god. It certainly looks like a scary film and with such great feedback and reviews so far – I’m excited to watch it.
UK release date – 24th October 2014
US release date – 28th November 2014

Okay. I’m totally embarrassed. I just realized you were asking theipc that question. I really don’t think everything’s about me. Thank you for the hugs though. And I’m glad you like Malfoy. Sometimes it helps if you name the monster.

No do not be embarrassed!! Don’t be silly like Professor Trelawny 🙂
MAYBE originally I was asking theipc, but I would have asked you exactly the same question as soon as I saw you 🙂 🙂
That really did make me laugh, it was the way you wrote it as well, so deadpan! How are you feeling now??

Thanks Emma. And thank you Eric for liking my comment. Sadly Malfoy is still in residence. This is one of those that nothing I do will work. I just have to wait it out. Where’s Hermione when you need her???

Probably tidying up after Ron somewhere, tsk!
What about Ginny? She can do a mean bat bogey hex, or so I hear 🙂
In all seriousness Kim, really really hope you feel better soon and damn blast shitty English weather, whether it’s in England or not!

Oww! We’re having England’s type of weather and it’s triggered an MMM (massive monster migraine). I’ve named it Malfoy.
