Mrs Doubtfire as a Horror Film

And if you’re lucky enough to be in England, I guarantee it’s raining as well. Woo.

(UPDATE ON TUESDAY EVENING: It was raining on Monday morning).

So I thought this might cheer you up. A fabulous and hilarious fake movie trailer depicting Mrs Doubtfire as a horror film.

The story is actually pretty similar to the original and true version, but instead of being heart warming and amusing to see a guy dress up as an old Scottish woman to secretly see his children, it’s very creepy and wrong in this re-imagining.

And I loved it. So funny, not to mention well made, the editing is great and best of all it is ABSOLUTELY REALISTIC and definitely makes far more sense than the actual movie which is still below par even when twinned with slight nostalgia.

  1. That’s terrific! I must confess that I absolutely adore the original Mrs. Doubtfire, and laugh my ass off every time I watch it – which has been several times!

I never got that anyone wouldn’t recognise him, so thought the original was just plain irritating. This version woks much better of course. 🙂
