Goldblum is always the perfect choice. 🙂 For me, I’d go with Sig Haig as Captain Spaulding. I know many people hated House of 1000 Corpses, but the clown killer is just so effectively terrifying!
I actually quite liked it! Well I certainly preferred it to The Devil’s Rejects and I know I’m in the minority for that. Ah I love Goldblum. He’s a dream ❤
I admire you for your bold choice!
I kinda wish I’d chosen Pennywise / Tim Curry!
Not a bad pick with The Fly. 80s Jeff Golfblum rocked. Though I would have leaned more for Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, he really brought something to that role, made it his own, gave what could have been a forgettable monster a personality, a very particular brand of evil.
Also a GREAT choice! 🙂
I love taking part in these lists – there are some mainstream choices, some eclectic and obscure films as well – I chose Vincent Price in “Theater Of Blood” because he wear san Afro – along with his daughter, the incredible Diana Ring! While the movie has lots of camp humor, it’s also full of bloody horror as well! – https://johnrieber.com/2017/06/06/an-afro-tastic-vincent-price-kills-his-critics-in-theater-of-blood-diana-riggs-favorite-performance/
I’ll bookmark that post as it sounds like a good movie,
Great choice!! 🙂
From the choices, I went with Hopkins, but I knew you would stick with Jeff G.
I would have voted for Pinhead (Doug Bradley) in ‘Hellraiser’ myself.

As ever, Pete. XXX (Hot enough for you? 32 degrees in Beetley today…)
That’s also a great choice! Pinhead I mean, love Hellraiser. Too hot for me!! 🙂 xxx
Too much choice. I find that sometimes there are people who look down upon acting in the horror genre, I for one am not. I think like any genre there is some really excellent acting on display within the genre that should be applauded. I don’t think it’s easy to register being frightened convincingly on screen.
