Favourite Video Game Adaptation

Over the past 25 odd years videos games have become a new stream of entertainment, so naturally Hollywood has decided to jump on the bandwagon and turn these lengthy stories into one of films, a lot get highly criticised but for the fans of film that never played the games we get certain stories that work on film. With the final chapter of the Resident Evil franchise coming to the cinema it is now time for us to pick our favourite video game adaptations.

    I haven’t played a video game since Mario Kart and Sim City, on the SNES. I don’t feel qualified to comment or vote.

    I hope that one day video game movies will break through, like comic books have done. Most video game adaptations suck, but the list you guys compiled does show that there are some entertaining releases out there. I personally liked Warcraft and think the original Resident Evil was fun.

      So true, they do mainly suck even when the idea/premise is great. I agree, I hope they break through too. I’ve not seen Warcraft but Resident Evil (the original) is the best I’ve seen too 🙂
