Nicolas Cage has had one of the most fascinating careers in Hollywood today with one Oscar win to his name. his career started in 1981 has seen him take the strange roles, the brilliant roles, become the action hero of the 90s before tackling those bees in The Wicker Man remake before becoming somewhat of a parody of himself in recent years. It will be fair to say everyone will be remember Cage as an actor for a range of different reasons but today we are going to pick our favourite character of his career.

I’m with you Emma! I’m so glad you picked that. It would have been my choice too. I do like Con Air, but Face Off is better. I also liked The Rock, but it wasn’t due to his role. Somebody else could have played his character, and the movie would have been just as good.
Thanks Paul! Con Air was a close call but he’s kind of cooler in Face Off 🙂 how have you been?
I’m doing ok. Still pretty much the same. How have you been? I hope the new job is going well.
Though he was crazy good in Face/off too.
He made an impression in Moonstruck.
If this had been most hated Nicholas Cage role, I would’ve been part of it. Alas, I have no favourite Cage roles, I don’t even have “barely tolerated” Cage roles 😛
I sort of crazy hate nicolas cage.
I can TOTALLY understand that!
Face Off all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know it!!! 🙂 🙂
I have to admit I’m not a huge Nicholas Cage fan, but if I were to choose it my top 3 would be: Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, and Moonstruck. For some odd reason I’ve never been able to buy into his action roles. I’m so persnickety Ems!😕
xoxoxo
I really liked Lord of War and Guarding Tess.
Nice choices 🙂
I couldn’t vote, as my favourite wasn’t listed. I always go for 8 MM, as far as Cage is concerned.
I was surprised to see you go for ‘Face Off’ over ‘Con Air’ though, Em.
As ever, Pete. XXX
His character in Con Air is a BIT too corny 🙂 Hey Pete! 8MM is a good film 🙂 xxx
What the hell was the name of the movie…he had OCD…
Matchstick Men!
I know the one you mean! But I’ve never seen it 🙂
