I’ll have to check out Shoot Em Up! I looked at his filmography, and I think the only movie I’ve seen him in was The Bourne Identity.

Shoot Em Up was so much fun! I genuinely think you’d like it, I’ve never seen The Bourne Identity!

I’ll definitely have to check it out. I think you’d like the Bourne Identity. I love the first three movies. I haven’t seen The Bourne Legacy (with Jeremy Renner) or the latest Jason Bourne movie. I’ll eventually get to those too I’m sure.

You know, all I can remember about Shoot Em Up is the sex scene Clive Owen has with Monica Bellucci. What is bad is part of me is happy to see a semi naked Ms Bellucci while another part of me is just disturbed by that scene.

I shouldn’t say this but the main thing I think of is Paul Giamatti. He’s so good in this! But the point is Clive Owen so… 🙂 I can understand you remembering that scene so well, you’re only human!

Ah I still have a bit of a crush on Monica Bellucci even though she’s quite a bit older than me! And Paul Giamatti is good on most things he does.

She’s very alluring!! And yes agreed, he’s a good actor and I especially like him as a baddie 🙂

I can’t even think of too many films he’s a baddie in. I best remember him from The Negotiator, Lady in the Water and Sideways (which is an amazing movie!!!)

My favorite Clive Owens role would be Theo in “Children of Men” as well, but I also loved him in “Gosford Park”, “Closer” and the suspense film “Derailed” – which also starred Jennifer Aniston, who gave a surprisingly good dramatic performance.

Great choices! He doesn’t always spring to mind when you first think of ‘really memorable’ films but the more I think, the more great films he’s been in / roles he’s played!

Derailed was very good actually. I’m not all that big a lover of his American accent though.

Always feel a bit disappointing when there’s a dodgy accent! And there’s plenty of them, even from great actors.

Just watched X-men First Class again today and Michael Fassbender’s accent COMPLETELY goes at the very end of the film.

He does go really Irish in places, I heard that too and he’s the language king lol!!!

lol I wasn’t really a fan of his accent turn but that’s a good movie. And obviously J Lawrence is in it which is always good.

I can almost remember the specific moment he went really Irish ha ha! Yeah I like that film too, my fave off the franchise 🙂

From the choices, I agreed with you on ‘Shoot Em Up’. Fun film, and all about Owen. For myself, I would choose between ‘Croupier’ (1998), where he is perfectly cast, or ‘Close My Eyes’ (1991), where a younger Clive shows his more sensitive side.
