We are well into 2018 now, so now it is a good chance to look back at 2017 and our favourite film from that year, we had some classic join the libraries of many, we also had some stinkers though, we don’t want to talk about them though. We are focusing on the ones we enjoyed the most, so lets see what we are picking.

I liked The Shape Of Water. This was a film that was shot in a era I find fascinating. A woman falling in love with a “fish man” is something unexpected.

I have not seen it yet but am familiar with the story and just bought the DVD for my mum, knowing she would love it!! It sounds typical Del Toro and magical 🙂

The wide variety of opinions on this post just proved what a great year it was for film! I could have gone with “Get Out” or “Lady Bird” as well!

Yes, I could have put one of five films up for my best, it was that close and that good!

I fancy The Shape of Water but haven’t seen it.

I haven’t seen it yet either, but I am ‘aware’ of it and sounds like a lovely film, I’m glad it got a mention. I bought it on DVD for my mum recently knowing she’d love it 🙂 xxx
