In retrospect kinda wish I’d chosen Final Destination 2…..What do you think?!
Opinions Battles
First I would like to thank everyone who took part in the first round, all the people who voted and the winner will be announced when Round 3 happens. I would also like to introduce the new players for this round.
If you like what we are doing and want to take part message moviereviews101@yahoo.co.uk for more information and our next subject will be Best Disaster films to celebrate the release of San Andreas, submission date 31st May 2015.
The subject we are going to focus on is Best Sequel, over the years we have seen movie studios give us plenty of sequels, some move the stories to the next level, others try to extend a story that was complete, we do get the franchise sequels that just use the try and tested formula with a slightly added twist, some good some bad. Wow! I’ve never heard anyone list A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 as their favorite Freddy movie before!
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3! Not 2 🙂
I love it!
It’s the sequel that no.2 SHOULD have been 🙂
Oh shit! I don’t know how I misread that.
Lol oh that’s okay, I did write some blurb about Final Destination 2 when I reblogged it so perhaps that!! So what do you think of the 3rd Freddy movie being my favourite? 🙂
The 3rd movie is great! I can easily understand it being someone’s fave.
Yay!! Phew!
I love it!!! I love the kids in the hospital all fighting together and Laurence Fishburne. And Nancy coming back! I truly do think it’s the REAL sequel we should have had the second time round 🙂
Hey sister, here’s another blogging award. https://vinnieh.wordpress.com/2015/05/19/my-fifth-versatile-blogger-award/
Wowweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Thanks Vinster you absolute legend!
A legend you say? I don’t know about that.
I do! It’s true!
Aww, I’m so happy to hear you think that.
Talk to you later Emma, gotta go for lunch.
Not sure about categories, but I have to go with Godfather ll as the best ever sequel, as it was as good -if not better- than the original.
Best wishes as always, Pete.
Sweet as a nut Pete! Join in the with next round? It’s favourite ‘disaster movie’ 🙂
In 1974, I saw ‘Earthquake’ at the cinema. It was shown in ‘Sensurround’, and that made the seats and floor vibrate during the earthquake scenes. In those days, we thought that was the bees knees! I haven’t seen the sequel though.
