Once upon a time I fancied being an illustrator for Disney. As a consequence I still follow the Disney animation for form and content. When I consider all the ingredients – story line, tones/colours of the film etc. I think his ‘best” is Pinocchio. The production is stellar. Nowadays it is consider too dark for children, but it is a masterpiece of illustration, storyline, just the right amount of talking animals and (of course) lovely songs.

As much as I love Disneys fairy tales, I think I’d have to go with The Lion King as well.

I was so sure you’d be Beauty and the Beast!!!! My choice is The Little Mermaid (of course!) but I think The Lion King is suitable for winning perhaps? #sassysisters

Aladdin is probably my second favourite actually 🙂 agreed, genie is hilarious and the songs are brilliant too. I love Dumbo as well but find it ever so sad (like, actually traumatic lol).

I love all the impressions he does and the various pop culture references he gets in there.

It’s the one time Robin Williams being ridiculously OTT in a film was actually a good thing lol! He is so funny though, agreed 🙂

I didn’t vote for any! Where were Dumbo, Pinocchio, and Snow White? Or Jungle Book, and Fantasia? You have to go back to the classics, to see the real Disney magic.
Just the opinion of an old grump, naturally.
(Nice to see you back…)
As ever, Pete. XXX
