During these strange times I have been participating in a weekly Pub Quiz with my family on Zoom. We actually have one planned for tonight (after BoJo’s speech). My boyfriend and I are called The Wet Bandits. It’s all about a good team name. Still not sure who is who.
Anyway, first week, we hosted as Quiz Masters (I have never wished I had a glittery jacket more). We thought of the questions ourselves, so – just in case – anyone may find it interesting or amusing to have a go, I thought I’d post it on here. There are twenty five questions in total over six rounds – Television, Food & Drink, Music, Books, Geography and Film.
Answers at the bottom. Good luck and no cheating! Drinks and snacks optional. But good.

Okay.
I got the Greek Currency, the Trotters flats, Birmingham for Peaky Blinders, 1917 for the film, Kent border counties, Alaska, and the Jap flag. I got the drum/timpani too, and scampi for Italy.
But that was it! And I thought I was smart! I usually get 12-14 right watching University Challenge FFS!
Well done with a tough quiz that was tricky for ‘oldies’.
As ever, Pete. XXX
