Disney has been making animated movies from almost the start of film, they always seem to reach the right levels the audience love. Today we are picking our favourite Animated Disney movie without considering any of the Pixar films.

    Once upon a time I fancied being an illustrator for Disney. As a consequence I still follow the Disney animation for form and content. When I consider all the ingredients – story line, tones/colours of the film etc. I think his ‘best” is Pinocchio. The production is stellar. Nowadays it is consider too dark for children, but it is a masterpiece of illustration, storyline, just the right amount of talking animals and (of course) lovely songs.

  3. As much as I love Disneys fairy tales, I think I’d have to go with The Lion King as well.

    I didn’t vote for any! Where were Dumbo, Pinocchio, and Snow White? Or Jungle Book, and Fantasia? You have to go back to the classics, to see the real Disney magic.
    Just the opinion of an old grump, naturally.
